    Peel and finely chop the ginger, garlic and red onion.

    Peel and julienne the carrot.

    Halve and juice the lime(s), reserve the correct amount.

    Slice the shitake mushrooms. Finely chop the red capsicum. Slice the spring onion across a diagonal.

    Add the olive oil (1 tbsp per person) to the pan on a medium heat.

    Add the onion, ginger and garlic to the pan and sautee until softened.

    Add the beef mince and satuee until browned.

    Add the red capsicum, shitake mushrooms and continue to sautee until softened.

    Stir through the fish sauce, honey, sriracha sauce and lime juice.

    Remove the meat from the heat and set aside.

  • 24.0 min

    Halve the gem lettuces.

  • 25.0 min

    Distribute the asian beef atop the lettuce halves.

  • 27.0 min

    Garnish with carrot and spring onion and serve.
