Which days do JustCook deliver?
Your JustCook delivery takes place on either Saturday or Sunday with limited exceptions on Monday.
Do you charge for delivery?
No! Your delivery is included for free as part of your subscription. The only time this is not the case is if your delivery falls during a holiday period. If this is the case our delivery partners charge an additional fee which unfortunately we have to pass along. Currently this is 35 AED.
What if I am not home for delivery?
No problem! If you can let us know as soon as possible and we can inform the delivery company to reschedule delivery until a later time or the next day.
Which areas do you deliver to?
We deliver across the UAE (expect Ruwais and potentially any other very remote areas - if unsure please reach out to us!)
What should I do with the boxes?
The cardboard box can be recycled as you wish or we'll happily collect that too each week.
What is the order deadline for the week?
As a new customer, orders must be made before Wednesday @ midnight to receive the following Sat/Sun.
For existing customers, please ensure you make your recipe selections by Wednesday @ midnight. If you forget then don't worry as the recipes you receive will be based on your default menu choice..
Account Management
Is JustCook a subscription service?
Yes, JustCook is a weekly subscription service, but don't worry, we are completely flexible and there is no minimum obligation.
Can I pause my subscription?
Yes, you can either pause your subscription via our website or our mobile app. Once you are ready to restart your deliveries, simply click re-activate. All changes must be made before midnight on Wednesday, prior to the following week’s delivery.
How do I suspend my subscription?
We are sorry to see you go, but we understand that things come up. To cancel, take the following steps: Go to your Subscriptions > Pause > Enter 0 for the number of weeks to suspend indefinitely.
Our Food & Recipes
Can I choose the recipes I receive?
Yes you can! You can either opt for one of our chefs' choice boxes or select from our weekly selection of 25+ recipes covering a wide range of ingredients and cuisines. You can view next week's menu here.
How long do the recipes take to cook?
Here at JustCook we know you lead busy lives. As such, all our our recipes have a "timeline" guide that details each step of the process. By following this guide, you can cook 95% of our recipes in 30 minutes or less!
How much stock/water etc. do we use?
Because JustCook caters for individuals and families of all sizes, there are a few items that cannot be pre-portioned. In these cases, check your ingredients checklist included in your box for exact measurements.
Are the ingredients you use organic?
While we strive to bring you organic produce where possible, our aim is to bring you the freshest product that meets our high quality standards.
Do I need any ingredients at home?
The only ingredients you need on hand are salt, pepper and oil. Everything else is provided in your box, so you no longer need to worry if you have the right ingredients at home!
Do you cater for special dietary requirements?
With the flexiblity JustCook offers through our Chefs' choice and A la Carte boxes, a wide range of dietary requirements can be catered for from Vegetarian, Pescatarian, Vegan etc. Beyond this, all of the ingredients are individually packed and labelled so you can always omit or substitute any of the ingredients when cooking.
