Sweet and sticky chicken packed with Asian flavours and finished with sesame seeds.

Preheat the oven to 180C.
Bring a saucepan of salted water to the boil.
Coat the chicken in flour.
Peel and finely chop the ginger and garlic.
Finely slice the red chilli.
Heat the half the oil in a frying pan over high heat.
Add the drumsticks and cook until the outside is crisp and golden.
Add the rice to the boiling water and cook until tender.
Transfer the chicken to a baking tray and place in the oven to bake until cooked through.
In a bowl, mix together the thick sweet soy, chilli, ginger and garlic.
Heat the remaining oil in a frying pan over high heat.
Add the snow peas and stir fry until tender.
Add the soy sauce to the snow peas and continue to stir fry until evaporated.
Remove the chicken from the oven and coat in the sauce.
Return the chicken to the oven to continute to cook for another few minutes.
Drain the rice and distribute among serving plates.
Distribute the snow peas among serving plates.
Remove the chicken from the oven and distribute among serving plates.
Sprinkle sesame seeds over the chicken to garnish.
Very good. Little sweet for me but hubby loved it.
