  • Step 1

Preheat the oven to 200C. Chop the potato into thin wedges, place them on a baking tray, drizzle with half of the olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  • Step 2

Place the potato in the oven and roast until softened and easily pierced with a fork.

  • Step 3

Season the filet steak with salt and pepper on both sides. In a bowl, mix together the wasabi paste and horseradish sauce.

  • Step 4

Heat the remaining olive oil in a frying pan over high heat. Place the steak in the pan and sear until browned. Turn the meat and sear the other side. (2 mins on each side)

  • Step 5

Place the horseradish mixture atop the steak, transfer the steak to the oven and roast until cooked through to your liking. (8-10 mins for medium)

  • Step 6

In a saucepan over medium heat, mix together the butter, miso paste and brown sugar until well combined.

  • Step 7

Remove the potatoes from the oven and drizzle over the miso butter. In the same pan used to melt the miso butter, heat over medium-high heat. Add the broccoli and cook until tender-crisp (add a little water if the pan becomes too dry).

  • Step 8

Remove the potatoes and steak from the oven and distribute among serving plates. Add the broccoli to the plates and serve. Enjoy your meal!
