    Bring 2 saucepans of salted water to the boil.

    Remove the butter from the fridge and bring to room temperature.

    Preheat the oven to 180C.

    Peel and roughly chop the potato into small cubes about 0.5cm.

    Put the potato into the boiling water and allow to boil until easily pierced with a fork (10-15mins).

    Peel and finely chop the garlic and finely chop the parsley.

    Mix the garlic and parsley into the softened butter and season slightly with salt and pepper.

    Form the butter into separate logs (you will need 1 for each person dining). Wrap in cling film/foil and place in the freezer.

    Cut the broccoli into small florets and add to the other pan of boiling water, trim the green beans.

    When the potato is done remove about 1/3 of the potato from the saucepan and place in a large bowl with the white beans.

    Mash the potato and beans until relatively smooth. Season with salt and pepper.

    Turn off the heat on the remaining potatoes and broccoli, and leave in the water to stay hot.

    Divide the potato & bean mash mixture into portions 1 for each person dining.

    Form the mixture into rounds and make a well in the middle. Remove the butter from the freezer and place the butter into the well.

    Form the rest of the mash around the butter and then coat in breadcrumbs until completely covered. Repeat with the remaining.

    Heat the oil in a frying pan over high heat.

    Shallow fry the kievs until golden on the outside.

    Place on a tray and place in the oven to bake and keep warm.

    Wipe down the pan (leaving a small amount of oil), and heat over medium heat.

    Add the green beans and cook until tender crisp, season with salt and pepper to taste.

    Drain the potatoes and broccoli, add to the same pan and mash together until smooth.

    Stir the cream and any remaining butter through the mash potato and season well with salt and pepper.

    Divide the mash and green beans among serving plates.

    Take out the kievs and place each atop the broccoli mash.

    Slice the lemons and serve alongside the kievs.
